A few years ago we decided we wanted our family tradition to be centered around giving thanks to people in our community. We decided to prepare a meal with some family and friends for our local fire station. The next year we did it again and a few more friends chipped in so we did a three stations. Now, we’re continuing to take care of our own while helping our community take care of their neighborhood fire stations.

We only signed up our local station. The rest of it is up to you and your family, friends, and the community around you. We’ll come along side you and help coordinate it all, but at the core we want this to be about you serving the firefighters in your area. If you sign up a station our only requests are that you help reach out to that station and help coordinate then secondly that you’ll spread the word.
What does it mean to sign up a station?
It means you want to see your firefighters fed on Thanksgiving day and you’re willing to spread the word! That’s all the commitment we need.
We take care of the food signups, organizing prep, and then prep and delivery on Thanksgiving Day. We just need you to be an advocate!
PREPARE FOOD
We need so much food to be cooked up and a few things from the grocery to make sure we can provide a full meal to our firefighters. We need things like sides, rolls, deserts, and more.
DAY OF PREP
We need helping cooking Turkeys and heating up all the pre-cooked dishes so we can deliver hot dinners around noon. We try to have you out to your own Thanksgiving by 1pm.
DELIVER MEALS
When the time comes we need people to deliver these meals to the different fire stations. We want people from the local neighborhood so you get to know the firefighters serving you.
We start early but promise to have you out and headed to your own Thanksgiving plans by 1pm. We’ll be warming up pre-cooked dishes, putting the finishing touches on turkeys, and spending time together doing family games, crafts, and other fun things together.
We need help getting the food to the different fire stations. If you’re able to come to one of our prep locations and pick up some food we’d love to have you deliver and be the hands that share the love to our firefighters.
